About Our Products

Do you offer any of your proteins fully cooked?

No. We specialize in providing pre-portioned, cleaned and seasoned proteins to help speed up the preparation of your meals. 

Where do you list the ingredients of each package?

The ingredients for each packaged protein is listed on the recipe card included in the box. Each product has an associated recipe card. The card has the detailed listing of the contents of the package on one side. The reverse side includes step by step instructions for the preparation of the protein.   

Can I order 1 item?

As a small business, we have real operational limitations. As such, providing fulfillment of a single package/protein would not be viable. Our service currently has a minimum order of 3 proteins/packages per order. Many of our customers who only need one portion at a time use the additional cooked servings as a part of their meal prep routine. 

Is Vacuum Sealing Safe?

Vacuum sealing meats and vegetables is a well established practice that has been used for decades. Done properly, it prolongs the useful life of food. It does so by removing the air from the package, preventing the growth and spread of bacteria that spoils food.

What should I do if my food package is perforated or bloated?

If you have any doubts about your packaged protein do not cook it. Contact customer service immediately (customerservice@chefdaddy.co). When defrosting, some vegetables can release gases that may be apparent in the bag. This is harmless and the protein is safe to cook and consume as directed. 


About Delivery

Can I get delivery within 24hrs?

 24 hr delivery is not yet available. We are working hard to scale up our services and enhance convenience for customers in the months to come. 

How do you prevent my order from defrosting before it gets to me?

All products are shipped in a sealed insulated delivery package. Further, we try to ensure that packages are delivered in hand and not left at the door. This avoids unnecessary exposure to the elements which could impact the quality of the product if exposed for long periods. 

When will I be notified of delivery?

Customers are notified of the delivery schedule via email or text (depending on the contact preferences selected). Notification typically occurs 12 hours before delivery.

Where do you source your proteins?

We purchase from reputable farmers markets and distributors within the state of Georgia. 

Are the proteins organic?

We source products from reputable producers and distributors within the state of Georgia. While some of the items we purchase are organic, we have found it best not to rigidly adhere to those requirements. A number of reputable suppliers are not certified organic, but nonetheless have high quality products.
